About this coliving

Temple Road Coliving is a townhouse in Kandy with 5 bedrooms for up to 7 residents. The building has kept its high ceilings, old timber and a shady inner courtyard. Cafés, gyms and supermarkets are a short walk away, and ride-hailing tuk-tuks are always nearby. Twice a week the house cooks together, and Friday is sunset drinks with the whole crew.

Wi-Fi runs at around 160 Mbps on fibre, with a 4G backup router. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.

Kandy is the hill-country capital, built around a lake and home to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. It's cooler than the coast, surrounded by forested hills, and close to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.

One of the best months I've had on the road. A beautiful old house with a lot of character. Lots of spontaneous weekend trips with housemates. Laundry was easy to sort out and the house is kept very tidy.

A calm, friendly base for a month of work. Easy to get anywhere by tuk-tuk, and the area felt safe at night. Communication with Ishan was quick and easy before I arrived. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
