About this coliving

Little Peak House is an eco lodge in Ella with 5 bedrooms for up to 7 residents. Trails start from the gate, and the cooler mornings are made for walking. Monkeys, kingfishers and the odd peacock are regular visitors to the garden. It suits people who come to get things done: calm rooms, good desks and a no-parties rule.

Wi-Fi runs at around 100 Mbps, with a 4G backup router. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.

Ella is a small village in the hills, surrounded by tea estates and hiking trails like Little Adam's Peak and Ella Rock. The Nine Arches Bridge is a short walk away, and the train ride from Kandy is often called one of the most beautiful in the world.

Fine for a month, though I wouldn't stay much longer. Amila shared all the best food spots nearby. Bring mosquito repellent for the evenings.

A great balance between work and island life. Surrounded by green and very relaxing. Waking up to birds and monkeys in the garden never got old. Laundry was easy to sort out and the house is kept very tidy. Only downside: the road outside can be noisy in the morning. Already planning my next stay.

Booked on a whim and so glad I did. My room was clean, bright and quiet. Big thanks to everyone in the house.

A really well-run house. Amila sorted out an airport pickup and a local SIM before I even landed.

Second stay here and it was just as good. Whenever something broke, Amila had it fixed the same day. There were a couple of power cuts, but the 4G backup kept us online. Would definitely come back.

Everything just worked, which is rarer than it should be. Hikes straight from the door: we did a different trail every weekend. Amila took us to the local market and cooked rice and curry for the whole house.

Lovely place with a really good crowd. Quiet enough to actually focus, which is what I needed. Rooms are simple but comfortable, with good mattresses.

Mixed feelings overall. Amila checks in without ever being in the way. A scooter helps, as the shops are a short ride away. I'd come back if a few of these get fixed.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Cool mornings and amazing views for walks. My room was spacious and had a great desk. Can't wait to come back next season.

A decent base for a month, with a few rough edges. A peaceful house, and quiet hours are respected. Amila and the team made everyone feel welcome. The kitchen gets busy at dinner time, but people are good about cleaning up.
