About this coliving

Kollupitiya Commons is a serviced apartment building in Colombo with 9 units for up to 13 residents. Cafés, gyms and supermarkets are a short walk away, and ride-hailing tuk-tuks are always nearby. Twice a week the house cooks together, and Friday is sunset drinks with the whole crew. It's one of the easiest ways to stay longer without blowing the budget.

Wi-Fi runs at around 200 Mbps on fibre, with a 4G backup router. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.

Colombo is Sri Lanka's commercial capital and the easiest place in the country to do serious work: fibre internet, coworking spaces, gyms and a big café scene. The seafront promenade at Galle Face is the place for evening walks.

A calm, friendly base for a month of work. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of fridge space. Hot water was a bit hit-and-miss during my stay. Would definitely come back.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Family dinners twice a week made it easy to get to know everyone. Lots of spontaneous weekend trips with housemates. Nimali and the team made everyone feel welcome. Can't wait to come back next season.

A really well-run house. Easy to get anywhere by tuk-tuk, and the area felt safe at night. Nimali checks in without ever being in the way. Highly recommend it for anyone working remotely.

Came for one month and stayed for three. Super central: cafés, gyms and supermarkets all within a short walk. Cleaning was thorough and the sheets were changed every week. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Everything just worked, which is rarer than it should be. Great value for a long stay. Very fair price for what you get, with utilities, cleaning and Wi-Fi included. Nimali was incredibly helpful with everything from SIM cards to scooter rental.

Booked on a whim and so glad I did. Nimali sorted out an airport pickup and a local SIM before I even landed. The kitchen gets busy at dinner time, but people are good about cleaning up.
