Cinnamon Gardens Townhouse is a townhouse in Colombo with 5 bedrooms for up to 6 residents. Cafés, gyms and supermarkets are a short walk away, and ride-hailing tuk-tuks are always nearby. There's a dedicated coworking room with ergonomic chairs, external monitors and a booth for calls. Quiet hours start at 10pm and the work area stays phone-call free.

Wi-Fi runs at around 260 Mbps on fibre, with a 4G backup router and backup power for outages. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.

Colombo is Sri Lanka's commercial capital and the easiest place in the country to do serious work: fibre internet, coworking spaces, gyms and a big café scene. The seafront promenade at Galle Face is the place for evening walks.

Came for one month and stayed for three. Desks by the window and a backup router meant zero downtime. Thilini checks in without ever being in the way.

Lovely place with a really good crowd. I had calls with Europe every evening and the Wi-Fi never dropped once. A peaceful house, and quiet hours are respected. Thilini and the team made everyone feel welcome. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A really well-run house. Easy to get anywhere by tuk-tuk, and the area felt safe at night. Cleaning was thorough and the sheets were changed every week. Only downside: the road outside can be noisy in the morning.

Everything just worked, which is rarer than it should be. Super central: cafés, gyms and supermarkets all within a short walk. Thilini took us to the local market and cooked rice and curry for the whole house. Can't wait to come back next season.

Booked on a whim and so glad I did. Quiet enough to actually focus, which is what I needed. The coworking room is properly set up: good chairs, monitors and a quiet booth for calls. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of fridge space. Getting there from the airport takes a while, so plan the trip. Highly recommend it for anyone working remotely.
