Kite Lagoon Camp is a beach house in Kalpitiya with 7 bedrooms for up to 8 residents. The lagoon has flat, shallow water for learning, and there's secure storage for kites and boards. It sits right on the beach, with sun loungers under the palms and a sunset view from the terrace. Twice a week the house cooks together, and Friday is sunset drinks with the whole crew.

Wi-Fi runs at around 90 Mbps, with a 4G backup router. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.

Kalpitiya is a sandy peninsula on the north-west coast and Sri Lanka's kitesurfing hub, with steady wind for much of the year and a large flat-water lagoon. Dolphins are often seen offshore in the calmer months.

A really well-run house. Took lessons with the local kite school and progressed fast. Wind almost every day and flat water to practise on. Chamari shared all the best food spots nearby. Already planning my next stay.

Booked on a whim and so glad I did. Family dinners twice a week made it easy to get to know everyone. Laundry was easy to sort out and the house is kept very tidy. There were a couple of power cuts, but the 4G backup kept us online. Thanks for a wonderful month!

One of the best months I've had on the road. A great mix of people. We still have a group chat going. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was unreal. My room was spacious and had a great desk. Would definitely come back.
