About this coliving

Lagoon Light Villa is a villa in Tangalle with 5 bedrooms for up to 6 residents. A pool in the shaded garden is where most working days end. Breakfasts are fresh and local, and there's a massage room for slow Sundays. A teacher comes in for sunrise yoga, and the deck is free the rest of the day for stretching.

Wi-Fi runs at around 110 Mbps, with a 4G backup router. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.

Tangalle is a slower corner of the south coast, with long golden beaches, sheltered coves like Goyambokka and quiet lagoons. Turtles nest on nearby Rekawa beach, and the pace is set by the fishing boats.

A calm, friendly base for a month of work. Roshan took us to the local market and cooked rice and curry for the whole house. Highly recommend it for anyone working remotely.

One of the best months I've had on the road. Laundry was easy to sort out and the house is kept very tidy. The kitchen gets busy at dinner time, but people are good about cleaning up. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
