Pidurangala Village House is a guesthouse in Sigiriya with 8 bedrooms for up to 12 residents. Trails start from the gate, and the cooler mornings are made for walking. It's one of the easiest ways to stay longer without blowing the budget. Twice a week the house cooks together, and Friday is sunset drinks with the whole crew.
Wi-Fi runs at around 90 Mbps, with a 4G backup router. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.
Sigiriya is a village in the Cultural Triangle, overlooked by the 5th-century rock fortress that gives it its name. Pidurangala rock is the classic sunrise hike, and the cave temples of Dambulla are a short drive away.
