Nallur Courtyard House is a townhouse in Jaffna with 5 bedrooms for up to 7 residents. It's a characterful old house with thick walls that stay cool in the afternoon. It suits people who come to get things done: calm rooms, good desks and a no-parties rule. The work room has proper desks, monitors on request and a phone booth, so nobody takes calls in the kitchen.
Wi-Fi runs at around 50 Mbps, with a 4G backup router and backup power for outages. Every room has a desk, and rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi, weekly cleaning and bed linen & towels.
Jaffna is the cultural capital of the Tamil north, with a Dutch-era fort, the golden Nallur Kandaswamy temple, island-hopping across the lagoon and some of the best food in the country.

Everything just worked, which is rarer than it should be. The coworking room is properly set up: good chairs, monitors and a quiet booth for calls. Whenever something broke, Vithya had it fixed the same day. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

A great balance between work and island life. A peaceful house, and quiet hours are respected. My room was spacious and had a great desk. The walls are thin, so earplugs help.

Came for one month and stayed for three. Desks by the window and a backup router meant zero downtime. A beautiful old house with a lot of character. Vithya sorted out an airport pickup and a local SIM before I even landed. Would definitely come back.

I arrived knowing nobody and left with a group of friends. Quiet enough to actually focus, which is what I needed. I had calls with Europe every evening and the Wi-Fi never dropped once. Laundry was easy to sort out and the house is kept very tidy.
